"Our association with Dayne Dudley Studios enhances our capability to better serve student athletes and coaching staff at schools throughout the United States, and worldwide.", says Laura Ramus, P.T., A.T.C., President and founder of GirlsCanJump, Inc.
"Getting advanced training information to coaches and student athletes is essential. It's time to get the appropriate training and educational resources we use on the professional level in female athletics, to school level athletic programs - elementary schools, junior highs, high schools and the collegiate level."
During Laura Ramus' off-season as Head Athletic Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach of the WNBA Detroit Shock, she and her GirlsCanJump program reach out to communities across the U.S.A., with charity outreach programs directly to student athletes, their coaches and parents. She hears their needs in school gyms throughout America, and offers training solutions to help prevent injury and improve performance.
"Besides just enhanced performance training, every female athlete must be taught how to jump, land, cut and complete their athletic activity in a better position so that the knee is not placed in a position of risk for injury. Our association with Dayne Dudley Studios is another step to achieve that goal and get the message out to the girls. As the performance level of female athleticism continues to increase, coaches tell us they need best in class training guides for their student athletes, and we are thrilled to be consulting with one of the U.S.A.'s eminent sports illustrators to help make this happen."
Mr. Dayne Dudley, Principal Illustrator, and founder, Dayne Dudley Studios remarks, "I've been blessed through the years to illustrate and build good relationships with some of our country's finest sports professionals. I'm looking forward to our association with the GirlsCanJump™ program, and working with Laura Ramus and her organization."
"I recognize in Laura her expertise and passion to athletic science, especially as it relates to injury prevention and advanced training techniques - and in particular, her expertise with the female athlete."
"I'm especially impressed with her commitment to our nation's youth, a commitment that Dayne Dudley Studios takes great pleasure to share with the GirlsCanJump™ program."
